When G.K. Nets was established by Kieran and Gerry Mc Loughlin in 1976, the primary focus of the company was on the design and manufacturing of fishing nets. As a result, G.K. Nets has been at the forefront of this industry for 40 years.
As a family run business, we come from a background of Howth fishermen, trawler owners, skippers and net makers. Therefore we have the unique advantage of being able to put our expertise and knowledge together with our genuine understanding of fishing gear to be the perfect partner for supplying our customers with efficiently performing trawls.
With three generations of Mc Loughlin’s involved in the family business, we are constantly working with Skippers and crews to ensure our fishing fraternity that they are getting the best possible fishing nets.
